The 2027 programme has not been announced yet. As soon as Ancient Theatre of Taormina publishes its dates, they will appear here.
The Teatro Antico has no resident opera festival. Classical evenings come from changing promoters, for example the Taormina Arte Sicilia foundation or the Festival Lirico dei Teatri di Pietra, an opera series in ancient theatres of southern Italy. Most summer nights are pop and rock concerts. As of 2 November 2026 no classical evening has been announced for 2027. In 2026 there was, for example, a symphony concert on 2 September.
