SPAC calls its amphitheater acoustically ideal. According to SPAC's history, Eugene Ormandy helped design the stage and perfect the acoustics; he even had a waterfall behind the amphitheater dammed because of the noise, and the frogs in the new pond were then moved elsewhere. LED screens show the stage on the lawn, though artists occasionally ask for them to be switched off.
All paths are asphalt. A ramp on the north side behind the Hall of Springs Gate leads into the amphitheater; every seat in the lower sections 1–14 is step-free, while in the balcony only the accessible seats behind sections 16–17 avoid stairs. Six-seat courtesy carts run from the Sun Dial at the Route 50 Main Entrance or the Hall of Springs Entrance. Accessible seats can be bought online or at the box office. Assistive listening devices are lent against a driver's licence; sign language interpretation needs two weeks' notice. SPAC does not lend wheelchairs. Accessible parking is in all lots, first come, first served.
