When does Opera Holland Park play in 2027? Tap an evening and the times at the top roll to that evening.

Twenty-eight performances of five operas are set for 2027, from June 1 to August 7: Verdi's Simon Boccanegra and The Pirates of Penzance in June, Bellini's Norma in concert at the turn of June and July, then Mozart's Figaro alternating with Puccini's La rondine from late July. Evening shows start at 7:30 pm and matinees at 2 pm; which dates are matinees has not been published.

2027 prices and booking dates are not yet published. In 2026 the Inspire scheme offered £26 tickets to eligible applicants, up to four per household. Non-members pay a £4.25 transaction fee; membership starts at £90 and includes priority booking.

Is Opera Holland Park worth it?

Opera Holland Park is the easiest open-air opera to fit into a London trip, a tube ride from the centre. Figaro or The Pirates of Penzance make a great first visit; bring a warm layer, as the sides are open.

Getting there

From anywhere in the UK, head for the tube stations Holland Park or High Street Kensington and walk through the park; the address is Ilchester Place, London W8 6LU. From the US, fly into Heathrow, which is linked to central London by the Elizabeth and Piccadilly lines.

Getting home afterwards

After the show most gates are closed; leave via Ilchester Place, the Abbotsbury Road car park or Duchess of Bedford's Gate.

What to wear

There is no dress code. Bring layers for the cooler evening; there is no cloakroom, so coats and small bags go to your seat.

What you can bring

You can pre-book a picnic table on site or order a hamper delivered to the theatre. The company's pages do not state clearly whether you may bring your own food and drink into the theatre area.
