Sound

The orchestra plays in a shell built in 2004 to a design by Hodgetts + Fung. A halo of lights and loudspeakers hangs above it, so the music reaches you amplified, even in the back rows. The L-Acoustics line-array system is aimed so that rear sections hear roughly the same level as the front.

Wheelchair spaces

At least 200 wheelchair, semi-ambulatory and companion tickets are available, and you can add up to three companion seats in the same row. For LA Phil events, order them with a form by email, mail or fax. Accessible parking in Lots A and B is $45 for LA Phil events. All Park & Ride buses are accessible, electric carts run from Lot B, and assistive listening headsets are free with an ID deposit.
