Aida tickets cost 98 to 149 euros, and the opera gala with Elīna Garanča costs 98 to 179 euros. These are final prices, plus a flat 5-euro service and postage fee per order. Pupils and students up to 27 get reduced tickets for selected concerts, but the price is not published.
Tickets are sold by the organiser Odeon Concerte in its web shop and by phone on +49 941 296000. Tickets arrive by post with an invoice. Orders of ten or more tickets get 10 percent off, and wheelchair spaces can be booked by phone or with a note in your online order.

Is Thurn und Taxis Palace Festival worth it?
The palace festival is worth it if you want grand opera or an opera star in a princely courtyard and can spend a bit more. In 2027 there are only three classical evenings, two of Aida and the gala with Elīna Garanča. The other nights belong to pop and Schlager stars.

What should I know before an evening in Regensburg?
Performances take place in the open courtyard. If it rains, good rain ponchos are sold in the palace park, and umbrellas are not allowed at the seats. The organiser does not publish a rule for interruptions. If an event is cancelled altogether, you get the ticket price back on presenting the original ticket.

In the organiser's words sourceFly into Munich or Nuremberg, which both have flights from the UK. From Munich Airport there are trains to Regensburg via Landshut, and from Nuremberg there are fast trains to Regensburg. The palace park is only about 700 metres, roughly five minutes on foot, from Regensburg main station.
After the show the main station is about five minutes away on foot, and almost all city buses leave from the Bustreff Albertstraße stop nearby.
The nearest car park is at St.-Peters-Weg 15, about 200 metres from the main entrance. There are more at the main station and in the old town, for example at Bismarckplatz, Arnulfsplatz, Dachauplatz and the Regensburg Arcaden shopping centre.
Umbrellas are not allowed at the seats. When booking you can add a festival pack with the programme book, a soft folding seat cushion and a bag, and collect it on the night.
